Reading is Fun da Mental! Sacred Circles Weekly Book Discussions

The Invitation:

If you would like to connect more in community and gain valuable leadership skills, consider hosting a small group for book discussion!  Small group discussions will be based on our Book of the Month for June, July and August.  Sign up for one, two or all three!  Please contact Rev Jill or Keith Rohde for scheduling.

How it Works:

Rev Jill will supply discussion questions for each chapter to assist you in getting things started.  As the group facilitator you will determine the time and location of meetings and the maximum number of participants.  Meetings can take place at your home, office, coffee shop or any other creative space you might imagine!  We recommend a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 12.

Discussions will revolve around the material in the current week’s reading, Sunday talks, Science of Mind and personal life stories relevant to the materials.

Why do this?

Small group connections are a wonderful way to make friends, gain insights from other participants and to be inspired by the stories and life experiences of the group.

Summer reading list:

  • June: Rising Strong by Brene Brown
  • July: The Miracle Club by Mitch Horowitz
  • August: Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza

Select one, two or all three to host a small group this summer a Scottsdale CSL because “Reading is Fun- da- Mental!”

Group 1: Rev Jill will host 9 people on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Venue 8600 in the upstairs conference room. Sign up at Sunday service!
